Featured on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, this unique whole house renovation included a new basement to create a double height living space within the extension to the rear. The extension was constructed with a steel frame and timber infills that include high levels of insulation and airtightness, using passive house techniques. Triple glazing and a fully integrated MVHR systemwere installed to the entire house to boost the buildings performance.
